Organizing pre-treatment and preparation of wastewater for further primary biological treatment is an essential stage in biological treatment plants.
The main task at this stage is removing solid insoluble impurities, sand, grease, and industrial by-products from the polluted effluent, which can negatively affect further treatment. The processes of averaging effluent parameters, neutralizing pH levels, removing suspended solids (TSS), and dissolved fats and oils are also crucial here. We use mechanical, physical, and chemical methods for this purpose.
In our solutions we rely on the following technologies:
- Mechanical treatment
- Sand traps, grease traps, primary settling tanks
- Stirred storage tanks
- pH compensation
- Dosing of flocculants and coagulants
- Dissolved air flotation (DAF).
